A Night of Poetry & Music
December 10th is Human Rights Day, commemorating the day in 1948 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
This day also marks the conclusion of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. To mark the occasion, we are offering the community a free event: an evening of poetry and music at the Belle Cote Community Centre at 7:00 PM.
We will have a wine bar, with all proceeds going towards the Leeside Society’s Christmas Program, as well as some light refreshments. Everyone is invited! All are welcome!
